In 2010, we changed from a weekly Bible study in our church parish hall, led by the rector, to home-based Bible study groups. Each group studies the readings from the previous Sunday using a study guide. Building on what we have learned about the passages the previous Sunday, we study the readings looking at their context within the Bible and how the text applies to our lives today.

We currently have twoBible Study groups meeting weekly:

  • Tuesday mornings at 10am at Nancy Dickerson's house in Farmers Branch
  • Thursday evenings at 7pm at Jim and Becky Cox's house in Carrollton

Please check your parish directory for location details or contact Fr. Reed for more information.

How the groups work:

A study guide is available in the church each Sunday. Be sure to pick one up as you arrive in the church. The study guide provides structure for the discussion.

The conversation is relaxed and fun.

As each session focuses on a different set of readings, you won't get left behind if you miss a session. So why not try one of our home-based Bible study sessions this week?
